USB HiPro™ Hearing Instrument Programmer

A desktop hearing instrument programmer for use where portability is not required. The new USB HiPro is made to be compatible with latest industry standards and is powered via a built-in USB 2.0 connection. The USB HiPro is fully backwards compatible with the previous HiPro and can be used with already existing and installed fitting modules. Compatible with all hearing aid manufacturers and supplied with a pair of Siemens programming leads, and computer interface cable.

Video-otoscope

Video-otoscopy (VO) continues to gain acceptance as an integral component of hearing care practice today. This technique has applications in the examination, display and documentation of the external ear canal and tympanic membrane. The Siemens UNITY VO is simple to use. It is a compact otoscope featuring hygienic removable speculum. High-quality fibre optic illumination provides crisp, high resolution colour graphics.

Multi-monitor VRA

Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) has long been recognised as a valuable tool in the assessment of hearing loss in young children and is widely used by hearing care professionals worldwide. Until now VRA devices have usually consisted of two black boxes with smoked perspex fronts, containing a dancing doll or animal that moves up and down, illuminated by constant or pulsed light.

The multi-monitor VRA has been designed in conjunction with the Paediatric Audiology Service of Southwark Primary Care NHS Trust, which is based on the Guy's Hospital site.
