Siemens Academy goes abroad 2005
Čatež Spa - Southern Slovenia, June 3-5, 2005

Twenty-eight Siemens partners from former Yugoslavia and their staff joined this year’s Balkan Academy in Čatež Spa in Slovenia. The three-day program, organized and moderated by Siemens sales manager, Mr. Hans W. Roesler, featured the new hearing instrument ACURIS Life. The seminar covered all product related topics, ranging from audiological background information through fitting aspects to sales and marketing strategies. Mr. Roesler was supported by Dr. Werner Hohn, one of Siemens’ senior experts on audiology and Joerg Pahlen from International Sales.

The atmosphere during the seminar and among the participants was great. The meeting was not only an occasion for professional exchange and to update ones knowledge, but also an opportunity to meet friends. A fun ride with the Slovenian railway and the following dinner in a local vineyard were agreed to be the event’s highlight. When it was time to say good bye, everybody looked forward to the next reunion at the EUHA congress in Nürnberg in October 2005.
