Data Logging

DataLearning Data logging collects information on hearing preferences such as:
  • duration of instrument use,
  • volume control position,
  • hearing environments,
  • volume changes,
  • program usage.
DataLearning All this collected information enables easier fine-tuning and results in a more customized and satisfying fitting.

How does Data Logging benefit you?

DataLogging provides an analysis of the patient’s listening environment(s). In other words, your hearing instrument gathers a sample of how you hear, and takes that information, making use of it. Instead of having to make complicated setting changes, your instruments make the subtile setting change for you by referencing the sample data. Therefore, instruments should be worn for at least one week to obtain a representative sample size for analysis.

This ensures more precise and faster fitting for the best possible hearing experience.

In contrast to DataLearning, Data logging does not automatically adjust the volume control settings to your hearing instrument, it only collect information. Data logging is a prerequisite to DataLearning.
